For the last two months we started working on tape art. We made tape figures to represent the Purchase Five (respectful, patient, empathic, persistent, and responsible). For example, there’s a boy raising his hand being respectful. There is a girl surfing to finally catch a wave and reach her goal and that represents persistent. Another figure is a boy helping a girl up, those figures represent empathic. One of the other figures is playing soccer and waiting to get the ball and that represents patient. Another figure is a girl walking her dog and that represents the last of the Purchase Five (responsible).

Youth Art Month is a month of promoting art and art education in the United States. It is observed in March, with thousands of American schools participating, often with the involvement of local art museums and civic organizations

Harrison Council for the Arts hosts an exhibition of student artwork, at the Harrison Municipal Building, Heineman Place. Check out the exhibit and look for these fantastic pieces made by Purchase students!
