For Mom

Many artists have made "Mom" the subject of their work.

2nd graders analyzed some well-know Portraits of Mother, then created their own.

I drew a picture of my mom for mother’s day. I put a lot of effort into my drawing. I added: curly hair, regular hair, and more curly hair. All of the materials I used were: pencil, sharpie, chalk, paint marker, and regular marker. When I thought I was done, I knew something was missing, so I stopped to think about what was missing. Then I added colors to it. Now it is finished!!
